I hopped on the bandwagon and I thought I'd make a realistic pokemon!
This is Ampharos, one of my favorite second generation pokemon. Ampharos gives off so much light that it can be seen even from space. People once used the light of this Pokémon as a beacon, or to send signals across the ocean. Which is why when the lighthouse Ampharos was sick in Silver/Gold/Crystal it was a drop everything and save the poor pokemon! Ampharos can be generally found in grasslands along with their pre-evolutions, Mareep and Flaaffy, but are an uncommon sight. Who would have thought that a cute little sheep could turn into something so badass?

I quite like this idea, especially if you look at mareep as having really fluffy baby bird downy feathers instead of wool.
